Rosie Doonan: The genius of many names

Being an ultimate connoisseur of music, I always tried to find something new. Starting from Armenian and foreign pop, only in 2008 I discovered new sounds for me - Rock music. Then going from soft to hard, till now I'm in the adventure of digging into Metal world. Parallely, I haven't forget other mainstream genres, plus always ready to listen something new, something unwonted for my ears.

In 2016, I suddenly heard swing and electro-swing chords, then chose one favorite song from this genre. It was the Cissie Redgwick's "Gimme that swing". It inspired me to find (even buy) all of albums of this diva. Unfortunately in iTunes there's only one EP from Cissie with two songs and their remixes.

In the April of last year I continued this investigation and found the label, which has rights of this EP - the "Cuckoo Records". From their YouTube channel found the second remarkable song from this story - "Cuckoo" of Indie band "Rose & The Howling North". The genre of the song was quite different from swing but the magic voice, the face and blood red curls of lead vocalist were familiar to me. She and Cissie Redgwick were same person.

The full identification didn't keep me wait too long. Her true name is Rosie Doonan, she's British indie musician, has many projects and solo career of course, released couple of albums, each of them is better than others. I've shared some tracks to my co-worker and he's surprised as much as me listening the third masterpiece from this article.

I really don't like to share my rare stuff but it's 2018 here. We all want new type of music !!!
